Ambiente Sedona - A Landscape Hotel

Oh my goodness I don’t even know where to start. I surprised my husband here for his graduation gift this last week, and we both were absolutely blown away. We’ve never stayed somewhere this nice before, I mean it was just breathtaking, but not only that, the service of ALL the staff we came in contact with was out standing, we were constantly offered waters, and comforts, rides wherever we wanted to go, and frequent check ins to make sure we had everything we needed. They even let us drive one of their luxury cars. They were extremely accommodating to us, and we didn’t feel like we’re just another set of guests, it felt personal. We want to give a special shout out to Jake at the check in desk, he was very professional and kind, he talked with a smile and gave us all the info we needed, making us feel very welcome. We also want to mention Debra at the spa, she was also so kind and personable. If we could mention everyone by name we would because it’s so rare to find a place that invests in the type of quality people they hire now days. Everyone was on point, and on their best professional behavior. We also enjoyed how mature the setting was, like they didn’t have a bunch of rules like pushing you out of the pool at 10 or everything shuts down at a certain time, it felt like we were treated and trusted like adults. We came here to celebrate our 25th anniversary. The hotel is right at Adobe Jack trail head which is super convenient for many loop hikes. The valets also drove us to other trail heads including Airport Loop and Soldiers Pass. They were unbelievably friendly and just the best service we’ve ever experienced. The views from the room and roof deck were spectacular. The food and drinks at Forty1 were also amazing. This is an experience worth doing and worth repeating.

We had a phenomenal time staying at Ambiente. The atrium was gorgeous, immaculate, and sleek. It had everything we needed - every detail was carefully considered. The property was beautiful and the layout was very convenient to navigate. The food and drinks were of the highest quality; we enjoyed our meals there more than those at well known off site restaurants. What really made the experience outstanding was the hospitality of the staff. Everyone was incredibly professional and also genuinely friendly and kind. Every single staff member was happily accommodating to any and all of our needs, and every system runs smoothly to make for a relaxing, luxurious experience for guests. We hope to return someday!

This may have been the best hotel we’ve stayed at in the past 25 years—and easily one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. Our room was incredible, with three walls of windows offering panoramic views of Sedona’s stunning red rock hills. The rooftop deck, complete with gas fireplaces, provided a breathtaking backdrop for both sunrise and sunset—truly magical. What set this stay apart even more was the service. Every interaction with the staff was warm, professional, and thoughtful. They consistently went above and beyond, and their genuine hospitality made us feel welcomed and cared for throughout our entire visit. If you're looking for a stay that combines comfort, beauty, and world-class service, this is the place.

The location is excellent—right off Sedona’s main street, making it super convenient to get around. All the staff were warm and welcoming, and the hotel offers complimentary shuttle service and free car rentals, which was a big plus. Drinks and snacks in the room were unlimited and complimentary, which we really appreciated. The floor-to-ceiling windows provided a beautiful view, and the room still maintained good privacy. The bath products were from a brand we personally love—another thoughtful detail. The only real downside was the mattress, which was way too soft and felt a bit deformed. Personally, I believe the mattress is one of the most important parts of a hotel stay—after all, a good night’s sleep is what a hotel is ultimately for. As for the hotel spa, it was just average. We booked a 1.5-hour couple’s massage, but the quality didn’t quite compare to what we’ve experienced at professional massage studios outside the hotel.
